Tomioka Racing was present as a sponsor at Subiefest on October 6, 2012 in the heart of Los Angeles at the Pomona Fairplex. For the 7th year in a row, Subiefest has held its place as the largest all-Subaru motorsport event in America. Subiefest has never ceased to be the most exciting enthusiast event, and as promised, Subiefest 2012 couldn’t have done a better job at maintaining that reputation.
As for most vendors, our team rose with the sun at 6 in the morning to set-up the booth and displays of our product. Within the first hour of the gates’ opening to the public, enthusiasts and their families began pouring in full of excitement. Thankfully for us and the attendees, the weather was warm with a breeze, unlike last year which was “humid” according to some guests. In our 20’x10’ booth located near the Autox track, we took the opportunity to exhibit series of our high quality performance products for Subaru such as the Exhaust Systems and Manifolds, Racing Light-Weight Batteries, Turbochargers, and various other engine components. At Subiefest last year, we unveiled our Twin Scroll Turbo Kit. We had much more to offer this year with superlative new product releases such as the Subaru turbo inlet hoses, 3-piece Top-Mount Intercooler hoses kit, and ball bearing turbochargers. As an added advantage, we now offer 62-month warranties on all of our turbochargers and exhaust products and a lifetime warranty on all of our silicone hoses. Congratulations to the Dyno Competition winner who won Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator and to the raffle winner who won our Air & Oil Separator.
The Tomioka Racing booth was graced with the presence of Sharla. She is a model of 4 ½ years, a rally co-driver and car enthusiast who is currently working on building her own STi for the ¼ mile, she is passionate about driving, working around cars, and attending events whenever possible. Sharla was in the booth throughout the event signing Tomioka Racing T-Shirts for fans and an opportunity for pictures. We also gave away a Tomioka Racing billet aluminum timing belt guide to a lucky fan who posted a picture with Sharla to Tomioka Racing’s facebook page.
We are superfluously satisfied with the turnout of Subiefest this year and eagerly look forward to attending next year with hopes of an equally successful outcome. We’d like to thank those who came by and supported us and encourage those who didn’t come out to attend next year.
